Stop Hating Yourself

Have you ever hated yourself? Been unable to forgive yourself? I think most of us have at one time or another, or maybe you feel that way now. I am coming across more and more people who feel (or felt) this way in my healing hypnosis sessions and as I was pondering that fact and the fact that it is REALLY, REALLY difficult to forgive yourself for any number of things you believe you have done "wrong" in your life, I had a download from Source/God/Creator of a really quick meditation that can be done in just a few seconds each day.
Breathe in the words "I love myself" and breathe out the words "I forgive myself".
Feel into these words as you say them to yourself...feel what it feels like to REALLY love yourself and REALLY forgive yourself. If you can't say those words and mean them, imagine this, "IF you could love yourself, what would that feel like? IF you could forgive yourself, what would that feel like?", then proceed to feel what it would feel like IF you could love and forgive yourself.
Or another version of this quick meditation if you are more visual: IF you could attach a color to self-love, what color would that be? Pink, red, blue, violet? Attach that color to self-love and breathe that color in each time you say the words "I love myself". Then, do the same for forgiveness. IF you could give self-forgiveness a color, what color would that be? Crystal blue, green, turquoise,? Whatever color you choose, exhale that color each time you say the words, "I forgive myself".
I have been doing this multiple times a day for the past several days and it is really starting to have an impact on my thoughts.
Remember, thoughts are things and when you add emotion to your thoughts and words, they become 100 times more powerful. So, what could it hurt to reward yourself with such a small, but powerful gift? Go ahead, give it a try.
